​This page includes a sample of previous works. Every project presents its own set of challenges and our task is to manage these in line with the owners objectives.  The end results can be seen in the photos.


New Kitchen – Illawong

Scope of new works to Illawong Kitchen

  • Remove old kitchen and wall cupboards
  • Replace all kitchen cupboards
  • Create a walk in pantry
  • Re-arrange the space moving appliance
  • New oven, cook-top, dishwasher and sink
  • Create new family space for kids school bags island bench

New Bathroom – Oatley

Scope of new works to Oatley Bathroom

  • Remove wall between existing bathroom and toilet.
  • Move entry door from existing location to further along the wall and block old door into toilet.
  • Remove all of the existing bathroom
  • Re-arrange plumbing to suit new bathroom
  • Install under-floor heating
  • Install bath, shower, toilet and hand basin, including waterproofing
  • Complete tiling

New Kitchen – Oatley

Scope of new works to Oatley E kitchen

  • New floor and wall cabinets and pantry with bulkheads over
  • New laminated benchtops
  • Soft close doors, drawers and storage mechanisms
  • Through-roof range hood ducting (motor at exhaust end for quietness)
  • All new Bosch and Miele appliances
  • New fridge recess
  • New Blackbutt floating floor to kitchen, TV room and dining room
  • New false ceiling with LED down lights and LED oyster lighting
  • New 10 lite back door

New Kitchen – Peakhurst

Scope of new works to Peakhurst kitchen

  • Full height wall cabinets
  • Soft-close draws and doors to all the cabinets
  • New gas cook top to replace the old electric cook top
  • New separate walk-in pantry with 2nd sink and built-in shelves for cook books & spices
  • Laminated island bench with waterfall sides housing a new dishwasher
  • Full height foot operated three bin draw for rubbish, recycling and compost
  • Under sink draws for maximum ease of access
  • Full width breakfast bar
  • Strip and overhead task lighting.
  • Condiments shelving draw
  • Plumbed-in ice making fridge
  • Built-in integrated range hood
  • New blackbutt flooring

The main challenge:

The floor of the house was out of level by up to 78mm and so had to be levelled up first before any cabinets could be installed.


Strip-Out & Rebuild – Lugarno

Scope of Lugarno Project

  • Complete strip out of wall and ceiling linings
  • Build new walls to new floor plan
  • New kitchen/dining/living area adjoining the rear yard
  • New family bathroom
  • New en-suite to master bedroom
  • New study and bedrooms
  • New internal laundry
  • New covered entry and separate foyer
  • New verandah roof/alfresco area adjoining living space
  • New windows all round
  • New ‘stacker’ sliding door unit to living area/alfresco
  • New wall and ceiling insulation
  • New mains gas cooking

The main challenge:

This project while significant was straight forward. The owners had also moved out allowing us expedient progress.


Additions & Alterations – Fairlight

Scope of Fairlight project

  • Demolish rear of house and build new addition
  • New kitchen/dining/living area connecting to rear yard
  • New entertaining timber deck off the living area
  • New bathroom
  • New western red cedar windows and doors all round
  • New western red cedar cladding all round
  • The whole roof structure was removed and rebuilt to the new design
  • New colorbond roofing
  • New Brushbox solid timber floorboards

The main challenge:

Being high up required being vigilant with regard to the wind and its effect during construction.


Additions & Alterations – Central Coast

Scope of Central Coast project

  • Demolish rear of house and build new extension
  • New step-down living room
  • New master bedroom with en-suite
  • New verandah on 3 sides
  • New entertaining deck at rear
  • New Brushbox solid timber flooring

The main challenge:

Facing southern winds on the edge of a lake required special attention to tie downs, roofing and tarps.


Attic Conversion – Inner City

Scope of Attic Conversion

  • Demolish bulk of old roof
  • New structural reinforcement to new attic floor
  • New flat dormer window north facing
  • New gable dormer window south facing
  • New timber staircase
  • New colorbond roofing

The main challenge:

Restricted access and limited on-site storage required careful delivery co-ordination while height work and dust control needed to be managed safely.


New Bathroom – Arncliffe

Scope of Arncliffe project

  • Conversion of old bedroom into a bathroom
  • New hallway connecting bathroom to master bedroom
  • New spa bath
  • New full width vanity with built-in storage
  • New shower with semi-frameless screen
  • New internal toilet suite
  • All new plumbing and drainage lines

The main challenge:

Much of the old clay waste pipes buried deep in the soil had to be replaced to ensure ongoing serviceability.


New Bathroom – Redfern

Scope of Redfern bathroom project

  • Conversion & gutting of old bedroom into new bathroom
  • Conversion & gutting of old bathroom into separate WC
  • New aluminium double hung windows
  • Floor to ceiling tiling
  • New bathtub
  • New shower with semi-frameless screen
  • Ceiling mounted shower rose
  • New vanity
  • Convection heater
  • New toilet suite with separate hand basin in WC
  • Floor to ceiling tiling in WC
  • All new and replaced plumbing & drainage lines

The main challenge:

The walls of the old terrace were fragile with age and required careful control for the new works to proceed.


Additions & Alterations – Petersham

Scope of works to Petersham

  • Demolish rear of house and build new addition
  • New covered alfresco/entertaining deck adjoining new living space
  • New bathroom with floor to ceiling tiles
  • New shower with frame-less glass screen and strip drain
  • New lead-light skylight to bathroom
  • New living room in upper bay section
  • New Laundry in lower bay section
  • New timber stairs
  • New solid Jarrah timber floorboards to alfresco area
  • New solid Tasmanian Oak timber floorboards to living areas

The main challenge:

The only access to the rear was all via a 900mm wide side passage way – rubble, concrete, bricks, timber, roofing, plaster, tiles etc was all transported via this passage way and mostly by hand.


Additions & Alterations – Country NSW

Scope of works to country home

  • Build new extension on west side of home
  • Alter existing to create new master bedroom
  • New en-suite to master
  • New main bathroom
  • New laundry with external access to verandah
  • New verandah to 2 sides
  • New kitchen/dining/lounge room
  • New stairs to rear

The main challenge:

Building on shale earth made for slow and hard digging for the footings, but once out of the ground everything else was straight forward.
